Warm up act

We went to the beautiful Highdown Gardens this afternoon with Ella and her gang to see a midsummer nights dream. We used to go to these gardens a lot, they are very toddler and small child friendly. When we arrived Will claimed he had never set foot in them before in his life......

It was a very good and funny performance, they do a good show, the Rainbow Theatre and the whole sitting outside with a picnic thing is always a joy. Obvs I never give a thought to taking my actual proper camera anywhere any more so thus is about the best of them - he did very well trying to rustle up people to go and do a turn, with predictably very little success.

Then home for Daisy to vanish back to Ella's for a sleepover, a chicken is roasting and today's double cocktail invention is a Nectarine Melba Martini - it is so pretty it's on the extras. I think super healthy too - two portions of fruit!!
