.... in it to win it. For the second time this century I didn't enter the sweet pea competition. My prediction of peaking too early came true.The combination of very hot weather a few weeks ago plus torrential rain earlier this week meant that I simply didn't have the 80+ high quality stems that are required as a minimum. Here's an image of some of my more respectable stems. There's always next year!
