Queen of Puddings
This recipe is one we had to use during our first domestic science classes when we were only eleven years old. It is a real gem and a great standby. The base is made from breadcrumbs in an egg custard, topped with raspberry jam and meringue and I serve it with single cream. Yet again it is so quick and easy to make.
