We Found A Boing
Another babysitting day - which was wet to begin with and I envisaged another day of indoor soft play.
The rain eased off - daughter arrived home very late from night shift (11 a.m) so we had an early lunch and headed out. First off we had to stop at Halfords in town for a headlight bulb for daughter's car - and then off to Brodsworth Hall.
The grounds were pleasant enough to walk around (or run, in Jessica's case). The playground was a little disappointing in that there was nothing for toddlers really - not even a swing. However we did find a 'boing' - which is what these rocking devices are known as at the moment - and she had good fun on this.
Before I left for home I fitted the new headlamp bulb to daughter's car. The journey home on the A1 was surprisingly smooth for 5 o'clock on a Friday.
