Juvenile Moorhen

I was working at home today and in the lovely sunny lunchtime weather I took a walk through Lickey Woods. I passed the lake beside the golf course shop and was surprised to find that there are still Moorhen chicks there.

Some of the chicks are very young, but this blip is of a near fully grown juvenile.
