Time passes.

There is elegance in even the ventilation shafts which are little hidden details of Victorian buildings. This one is in Nelson Mandela place, formerly St. George's Place and I know for sure that my mother and father would have walked past it in the first part of the 20th century, just as I did today, in a different city. Time can seem very elusive.
