through the window

3 activities today so I've blipped from the one that took the longest time and put a pic from each of the other 2 in extras.
1st we went for a paddle before breakfast whilst the water was very calm and headed up the coast a bit.
Then breakfast and a trip to Inverewe Gardens for 3 hours wander. It's not at its most colourful at this time of year but there is still plenty of interest and the added bonus that the house is now open. They had great views from the living room window.
The 3rd activity was a trip to Mellon Udrigle, I think we've been there every time in this part of the world. a lovely quiet beach and fantastic views north and west to the mountains. A short walk round the headland gave even more extensive views.
A little bit of rain on the way back but only when we were in the car or back in the cottage.
P.S. I think I mis-named yesterday's flower - but it had to be golden!
