Lots of cooking today. We had a canapé buffet with 9 different canapés. 6 savoury, 3 sweet. Savouries were asparagus and bath blue cheese tart, slow roast pork belly with apple marmalade, prawn cracker with Thai marinated chicken mango chutney and beetroot shoots, smoked trout mousse on a crouton, pork terrine with sweet piccalilli, chicken galantine with truffle and pistachios. The sweet ones were chocolate cup with mandarin bavarois, biscotti with lemon cream and raspberry, apple cake with vanilla chantilly cream.
We also did a coffee morning and for that we did a white chocolate and cappuccino gateau, berry fruit tart with creme patisserie and chocolate brownie.

So the kitchens are now put to use pretty well!! All fun and games tho, although I don't think I have heard the word sir so many times in my life, ever!!
