The longer nights creep up so slowly through late summer then BAM! Mid september and the sun's going down before the kids bedtime.

I'm no season moaner though. I find the accelerated seasonal and daily changes, around the equinoxes, genuinely exciting! Looking forward to wild winter nights holed up with the fire
