actually, i believe it's a sort of salmon - hard to tell but it was so unusual - and unexpected it immediately caught my eye - as i was out and about today - i had to stop to snap a photo as they were - hanging over a fence in all their glory - it just doesn't get much better than this

a minor cropping but otherwise this is straight out of the camera - no sense fussing with the beauty of nature - not when it's going to lead to...
