Love this odd blue metalwork lady #RLS Day 12

Lots of houses in Grez-sur-Loing have odd little things like this sticking out of the walls about hip height. They vary from house to house, but my eye was caught by this blue lady in a jaunty hat - at least, I think it's a lady. No idea was this thing is for, so any wise people who know feel free to tell me in the comments.

Bastille Day tomorrow, which is a big public holiday across France. (Counting myself lucky not to be in Paris when a Donald is visiting.) Grez is a wee village but we can apparently expect fireworks, a parade and what Google Translate calls a hoedown. Much of the festivities don't start until 11 tomorrow so sleep may be at a premium.

This should be... Entertaining!
