Bad Hair Day

I can never quite decide whether it's a bad hair day or an artful creation.  Same with this flower.  Is it meant to look like this or has nature artfully dishevelled it?  I like it anyway!

In my role as a "Lady Who Lunches", I was meeting up with some ex teaching colleagues today, and as most of them live the other side of Wolverhampton, we generally meet somewhere close to there.  Today we went to a hostelry next door to Wightwick Manor so I decided to take advantage of their beautiful gardens for a Blip.  Traffic made time very short, but the choice was good and I loved these flowers that look as if they have been put through a paper shredder.  I am sure one or two of you will know what they are called and I would like to know!

Another busy day, and I realized half an hour ago that I'd forgotten I was going to go to a Camera Club talk tonight.  About ten minutes too late to go.  Never mind.
