Beehave

Another better day, with sun and a little cloud cover.

Taking advantage of the good weather, we headed off to Wolds Way Lavender Farm, near Malton.   A beautiful display of Lavender and other herbs,  woodland walk, the largest bee hive in the world!! ( you can walk inside see extra).  A buzz with bees and lots of butterflies.    It was very well laid out with plenty of information on the wildlife and habitat.

We had a good wander around, partaking of refreshments of course.   Into the shop to buy a plant but they did not have the one on sale we had seen in the beds, so plumped for ,'Madrid Purple' - thought it appropriate.   Hope it survives the winter!
