Out on the bike (Day 798)
It was another really lovely wander up the hill with the dogs this morning in the sunshine. Afterwards, and whilst waiting to hear from a customer, I got on with some stuff around the house, then spent a while trying to tame the lawn.
After lunch, my beautiful wife took me and the dogs for a walk at Wasdale. The dogs were too warm.
Back at home, HV was soon zooming off to work and I thought I would head out on the bike for a bit of a ride. I really enjoyed riding in the sunshine and with no wind, and stopped to take a shot looking out over the bay of firth and over towards Kirkwall. Unfortunately about 2 minutes after I took this shot, and whilst zooming downhill at around 35mph, there was a bit of a bang as the front tyre suddenly deflated. With no tools or spares, I walked the 3 and a half miles home. It is all exercise I suppose...
