This summer.
Our south facing deck was home
To several baskets of Columbines.

A few weeks ago, I decided,
I was drowning them in watery love.
So no more daily dowsing.

The last few weeks they've
Appeared to be in winter mode.
But, then.
This beauty emerged to face the sun.

I'm not sure it's a Columbine,
But what a Fall treat.

TRAVEL UPDATE
This afternoon we're heading to
Custer State Park, South Dakota.
For their annual Buffalo Roundup on Monday.
Hopefully, I'll snag some good ones of the
Big shaggy ones and some Pronghorn antelope.

Camping within the park I'm not sure
I'll have any internet, so if you don't hear from me.......
