No Snow Today

Sure has been so cold. We didn't get the strong winds which was lucky. Sad for other parts of New Zealand that have been badly effected by them. We did get a few showers pass by and also about five minutes of sun.

We had appointment with the lawyer today to sign all the documents for the house sale and for our new place. Afterwards we had a wonderful coffee that warmed us up.

The people who were interesting in the top of the sideboard have just been and have taken it away with them. It was damaged in the earthquakes and we had been using it for storage in the garage. The bottom part was sold a few months ago, but no one wanted this part. I had never used the buy and sell and exchange before on Facebook and got a really good response .. I was giving it away for free and had so many people interested in it. Saves us dumping it!

I only took this shot this morning ... it shows another view from our place looking towards the west. The bare tree just over our fence is that wonderful flowering Cherry Blossom tree I am going to miss seeing in flower again.
