Gisborne, North Island
We spent yesterday in Napier visiting relations in the afternoon. It was cold and wet most of the day, but I still managed to go shopping!
This morning we left Napier, travelling in temperatures between 4 and 5 degrees, with heavy rain and sleet falling during the journey.
We arrived in Gisborne (a place I've never been to) to the sun and a much warmer 13 degrees. This photo is the main road into the township. I love the palm trees lining both sides of the street and the clock tower in the middle of the road that still strikes on the hour.
