Cloudy Vista

This morning I took my car for a Warrant of Fitness, then walked 5 k's to meet my photography friends for a nice cuppa.  Collected my car, then after lunch I went to Bremner Bay and to the lake front where I got this photo.  I like the clouds and their reflections in the pools by the side of the main lake.  Because I have walked over 9,000 steps, I am giving myself the rest of the day off!!

Blip No. 1962

Family news 1962.  I turned 21, and had a nice birthday party at home.  The 1st extra is the hand painted portrait that I gave my parents to celebrate the event.  It sat on their mantle piece for years.  Now it is in the cupboard under the stairs out of sight!!!
