Dolly, Cat and the ice cream

I had a very quiet morning, I'm trying to rest my voice as much as possible! I really don't want to turn this into a prolonged bout of laryngitis, it's such a pain, literally and figuratively! We met our friend Cat for a very late lunch, it was lovely to catch up, although I wasn't able to contribute much there! I had this huge ice cream after lunch, it was purely medicinal, for my throat you understand! When we got home I ended up having a nap for an hour and a half, I only woke up because of a noise outside, I think I could have slept straight through the night otherwise! I'm feeling pretty run down at the moment, although I look surprisingly rosy cheeked here because of the heat, the ice cream helped with that too!
