A gentle day dropping things and making mistakes.

My meringues were a complete failure. They'll get eaten, but they are not meringues. 

I broke a small ornament I liked, nothing to cry over but a shame. 

And I completely failed to do basic maths whilst preparing the second kitchen drawer. 

About lunch time I gave up and went out. 

The City Arts Centre has an exhibition on at the moment called A to Z of Edinburgh. A mixed, eclectic and interesting bunch of stuff. But don't bother with the home movies. They are dead boring. Even the sailing one. 

After a snack in the garden I wandered home. This is in a shop window in Cockburn Street. 

The town was hooching!
