On the edge......

It rained a lot last night, so my moth trap stayed firmly inside! As a result I overslept this morning!! oops!
The rain continued into the morning, but by the time I left work the sun was out, and everything looked refreshed. 
I went for a quick trip to my favorite field, and found it golden with ripe corn (I expect it will be harvested very soon). I was pleased to see the farmer had again left a wide margin around the field for wildlife, which if today was anything to go by is very successful, as it was alive with wild flowers, butterflies and other insects.
I was so touched to see this I have used it for my blip, showing how lovely the pinks and whites of the wild flowers were against the golden corn.
