Skara Brae

After breakfast visited Skara Brae, a 5000 year old Neolithic village, and UNESCO world heritage site. Fascinating and one has to recognise the sophistication of these people even if we don't fully understand their culture.

Popped down to Stomness in afternoon.....interesting town with gable ended buildings in the Nordic tradition. Another sunny day Orkney has been a wonderful experience.
