Eye to eye with the glamorous Ground Hornbill

I love these birds, practically prehistoric but with seemingly false eye lashes! 
A lovely trip to Birdland today. I clocked that the weather would be better in the afternoon so swapped the day around doing some macro in the morning with my client and the Birdland session in the afternoon. It was nice for me to see the birds at a different time of day and the Tawny Frogmouths were sunning themselves so I got the unusually well lit shot in extras. I've also added a super cute duckling to make you go "Awwwww!"
