Flat battery in the DSLR...again.

In extras, we visited St Blane's church, which I am told is one of the 'thin' places like Iona,  where the spiritual almost breaks through into the material world.  I was no more aware of it here than on Iona.  Perhaps it did  not help to learn that poor Blane was set adrift on an oarless boat by his uncle the founder of the monastery, because he was cross his Mother got pregnant out of wedlock.  Nice people., these 6th century Christians.
