European Adventure Day 8: Venice

Train to Venice this morning - all a bit of a usual Jones rush!

Very hot and very busy. Headed for San Marco but didn't stay too long as it was really crowded. Enormous queues to get in to the church.

While standing at the Grand Canal, the man in front of us slipped on the step and fell in! Our lovely boy managed to pull him out - everyone was okay but goodness, what a fright!

We then wandered in circles for quite a while, stopping for drinks and lunch before heading back to the Rialto Bridge and the train station.

Going out for tea soon.
