Bloomin' Summer
At last! Sunshine and warmth has arrived in Edinburgh. It's just a pity it arrived at the same time as the bank statement. Never mind, to be able to sit outside on the patio jacketless seemed more important than worrying where the money has disappeared to.
His Lordship is watching the Andy Murray tennis match, but it is far too stressful for me to watch him play. I am happy to know the result, and if it's a win for him, then I can watch the replay. If he loses, then we will say no more about it and continue as though nothing has happened.
Daughter #1 is down in Edinburgh for a short break and we had coffee together this morning sitting in the sun. It was lovely to catch up with her news and give her some motherly advice. Whether she take it or not is another story.
This ground cover of vinca was looking very healthy in a newly planted spot behind a low granite wall and in front of a very dead box hedge. At least I think it was dead, but maybe you can get a variety of the latter in a straw colour.
