Lone Pine

We had a lovely few hours this afternoon hanging out at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. Sort of a mini-zoo, it was a cute and easy place to wander around for a few hours, looking at Aussie native animals such as cockatoos, Tassie devils, platypus, cassowaries and - of course - kangaroos and koalas. But probably the kids' favorite bit of the day was watching the sheepdog show, where an Australian kelpie put a bunch of Merino sheep through a little obstacle course.
