Hostas at the Library

Hostas are also known as plantain lilies (especially in Britain). These adorn the main library in Northampton.  I was there to give a presentation of bird images to a small group (ages 8-13)from a school for special needs children. It was great fun, as always with kids.  Another such event is coming up in two weeks, at the Hitchcock Center. 

A blast from the past:  The New York Times had an article today on a city-wide installation project by Christian Boltanski in Bologna, Italy (20 works). It reminded me  this huge installation by him in the Grand Palais in Paris in February 2010 (the month I joined blipfoto! :)
