Coot and chick

Our nephew's house in London is beside Ravenscourt Park so we had a lovely walk there this morning and returned just as the heavy rain started. The young coot in the park was very cute chasing after the adult.

In the afternoon we had a walk along the banks of the Thames and watched rowing practice.

In the evening we had the pleasure of taking our hosts to see 42nd Street at the Theatre Royal - a wonderful show and a great way to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. ( Mrs AMK's idea !)
