Leavers

Getting up this week has been really hard and I suspect it will continue in that fashion. A very busy Tuesday and one which ended with torrential rain both at the end of the school day and on the way home three and a bit hours later. The ring road was particularly treacherous so a steady rather than speedy journey home was necessary. 

Bailey was particularly pleased to see me having had only one other visit today and being on his own for the longest time of the week. He braved the rain in the garden but wasn't daft enough to stay out there for long. 

Some purchases arrived today - gifts for friends who are leaving this year: novels for a historian and avid reader and a sentiment for the loveliest of people.
