Tongue Out

The palm trees in our complex get trimmed a couple times each year. This same guy has been doing the work since we arrived and he was back today to clean out four of our seven trees. I almost always break out a camera to take photos of him climbing the tree (barefoot, no safety ropes) and cutting down fronds and young coconuts. Here he is at the top of a palm, 20 meters off the ground, swinging his machete near those bare feet of his. He still has all ten toes (along with a pretty impressive tongue), so all that practice with the tool of his trade has obviously paid off.
