QMU Film Show

Tonight we attended the QMU Film and Media Degree Show. The standard of films was really high and included films by a young woman from Malawi who had studied film at QMU and made a film about street children, a documentary about a community activist group in Prestonpans, a story about a student who has a winning lottery ticket, a story about 3 Edinburgh gangsters, a guide through the artistic world of an Italian artist living in Edinburgh, a film about the relationship between a mother and daughter with a very peculiar
relationship and my personal favourite, Fuego, the very moving story, about a young Polish immigrant who returns to the farm where she grew up.
