End of a Good Day

My follow-up appointment with the surgeon was this morning. I have been released to resume a "normal life". Stretching and lifting light weights was  recommended and taking care not to over do. I feel like I have been given a "get out of jail free" card.

My sister came over in the afternoon to accompany me to Costco and I drove for the first time in five weeks. I was ready for a rest after the groceries were put away, but it was a good tired feeling.

I am grateful for all the help that I received from my family and friends to help me through this time.
