Indian summer

Is it my imagination, or does the weather always improve once the children are back at school? On my daily walk to strengthen my back (almost strong enough to drive now, so should be back to full time work in a week or so) I headed down to the sea front with my camera and took a few frames of the sea which was looking more like it does in the Greek Islands than the English Channel!
The steps in the foreground were constructed a few years back when the Eastern end of the sea front was re-worked. They are seldom used, as they lead straight into the water most of the time, but make a nice addition to this shot.
