A pleasure to be out in the rain this morning. In the afternoon I took this classic tourist photo: it is a lovely statue. It's only been up a couple of years, but the bear's nose and ears are already shiny like Greyfriars Bobby's (and his has a notice asking people not to stroke him as he's wearing away) - I think the bear is too irresistible for people.
