Hollyhocks

I spotted these hollyhocks while out on a walk.  The garden belongs to a friend and she saw me looking into the garden.  She has now promised me some seed but I understand that hollyhocks tend to grow where they want to and that sewing seed isn't always successful.  We shall see.  I finished work at lunchtime and then returned home to clean a clock and watch the tennis.  Fortunately it was routine job and did not require total concentration.
