Change of Scenery . . .
If you can't be in Orkney, I'd definitely recommend the East Neuk of Fife. It's beautiful, even more so in autumn when the trees are just starting to turn colour and the fields are being harvested. The cold mornings and the warm afternoons, the light and the skies - it's a lovely place to be.
After a bit of a chaotic journey down on Monday, I got into the new routine of things down here today. Just basically doing things which need to be done, whether it's cooking, providing cups of tea, sorting and packing or just sitting keeping and being companionable. Lots of bramble picking today, but visitors took them all away with them, so more picking today! Visitors come with flowers and cakes, and leave with brambles and apples!
Blipping will be as and when, and commenting even more sparse, but I will do my best!
