Cubano band master

Music in the park -- Meridien Hill, specifically. I went there for the Sunday afternoon drum circle but showed up two hours early. Never fear though: on what is normally the sideline, an impromptu Cubano band was taking center stage (see extra) to some very engaging tunes.

This gent was the elder in the group, as I could see from the respect the other players showed him. He was very approachable, especially when I rolled out the five words of Spanish I know (including "un sonrisa for favor!). He obliged with a twinkle in his eyes :)
