Blooming Heather at Walltown

Headed along the (Hadrian's) Wall to Walltown this afternoon.  Easily my favourite part of the wall.  It's high aspect gives superb views in every direction and it's quieter than other parts of the wall.  I was surprised to see the heather in full bloom already.  It was warm despite the cloud and the sun came out as we were heading back to the car.  I've added a couple of extras, the cow was having a good lick of the tourist board!
