A Different Bridge
We had to leave the Borders today after a delightful stay near Kelso, so it was goodbye to R and M and Bonnie the dog, who is still not 100% fit and will be seeing her own vet when she gets home. She is still looking quite subdued in the Extra here.
TJ had been going to take his sea trout to Dunkeld to have it smoked, but when we discovered it was too long to fit in the cool bag for the journey home, he decided to take it to the Teviot Smokery instead. As well as the Smokery, they have a delightful garden centre with a lovely walk down to the river and this red bridge is just one of the many features we enjoyed. A bit different from the three Forth Bridges we saw later on!
As an Extra, I've include a rushed shot of the iconic Scott's View, which would have looked so much better yesterday in the sunshine. Today it was showery to start then with heavy rain settling in for the rest of the day. Just as well we are going home then:-)
Hope to catch up as soon as possible.
