Sailing into the sunset

Today we left Plitvice  and - on the recommendation of fellow blipper A New Day - headed to Zadar, on the coast - good call A New Day!
Zadar is a walled town, similar to Dubrovnik but without the crowds. It is also famous for its stunning sunsets and, as luck would have it, this evenings was enhanced by the Royal Clipper Valletta which was sailing into the setting sun.
On our way to Zadar we stopped at a stretch of coastline that was quite quiet (apart from the nudists) and arid. It was here that I found my favourite creature of the entire holiday - the cone headed mantis. Do check it out in my extra photos - it is the most marvellously evil-looking  creature you are ever likely to find.
