Female Large White on Verbena

I liked this shot because of the isolation and the intense colours from the sunlit back of the garden. I've put an extra (starting to think about rationing these) of what could have been a perfect picture if only the focus had been on the butterfly not the verbena.

Just a week to the road trip! Beginning to think about what I need to pack (hey, it's Britain, suncream, rain mac, midge net...) but between then and now the diary is madly full of parental taxi, council meetings, trips out and family meals. How is life this busy?! 

And would I want it any other way? Of course not! ;-)
