Duxford walk

Another great summer's day to enjoy, made better by remembering it was Duxford air show and we really should pop over and have a walk past.

This is one of the better composed shots, the photos of the red arrows upside down at tree level over our heads sadly didn't make the cut.  You get a much better view when outside the health and safety controlled areas in the fields :-)

Oh, and further indecision as to whether to use the nine Red Arrows or one of the nine Spitfires taking off simultaneously from the airfield and flying in formation!  It was a very well timed walk.

The back road across the field sadly shut it would seem these days but cut our meanderings mercifully shorter.  A very welcome drink back at the Green Man in Thriplow (must go back, great community pub) before heading home.
