Body Boarder

The waves were larger than usual this morning, so large in fact I was knocked off my paddleboard while launching at my normal spot. That partly accounts for the softness of this image (lots of residual moisture on my camera lens) along with my distance from the subject. Regardless, I kind of liked the overall feel of this shot. There were only two body boarders on the waves, but I imagine others would follow later in the day if the waves, kicked up by Tropical Storm Eugene well out in the Pacific, stayed as high as they were while we were out there.
