Same Old, Same Old

What to say about our first day home when it feels like we have never been away?
We fell back into the old Sunday routine of Land of Toast and Sunday papers before 9o'clock. We like to think that at this early hour on a Sunday, any nosey neighbours believe we are devout early mass attenders.
We came home by the Cloisters bar, which inhabits the Old Parsonage of St Michael's church at Tollcross, and is adorned with a colourful display of hanging baskets.

There was much catching up with children and mail and a quick walk into town to pick up an online order of trousers which turned out to have a suspicious stain on them which then required another walk into town to return them and get a refund.
As His Lordship remarked, this about turn would not have been possible in Orkney, although that is not a good enough reason to write the islands off; nor is the late delivery of Sunday papers there. As a matter of interest I haven't had time to read these papers yet, despite their early appearance
