Looking back through my blips I realised how few landscape shots I've posted recently. Thought I would put that right and headed to Grasmere for some reflections of Helm Crag before the tourists got all the free parking spaces. 

I expected the weather to improve but it didn't. I waited near the shore for a while and took shots of hikers, dog walkers, swimmers, other photographers and some cyclists. No Japanese tourists ........ they must have been there before me. 

It was mid afternoon when the cloud cleared and the sun shone. By that time I'd made myself comfortable on the sofa with the Tour de France on the tv.
