We're in Cardiff my lovelies!

Cardiff is cool.

Budgies are deposited in the budgie hotel, bags are packed and we are off on holiday.

Train was delayed of course but we were still early enough to have a good wander round the waterfront which is where we are staying. It looks really cool.

Extras include Ianto's shrine. Who? A character from the rather bad Dr Who spinoff, Torchwood that I started refusing to watch pretty quickly. My husband stuck it out to the end. This character was apparently pretty popular and as a sign on the shrine tells us, it has lasted far longer than the TV series!
