Bake Oven Knob

We hiked up to Bake Oven Knob lookout on Friday in hopes to see a Bald Eagle and other migratory birds. On our way to the Knob a Bald Eagle flew right in front of our car but of course I couldn't be ready to take the picture, lol!! It flew into the trees and we couldn't find it. We continued on our journey, hiked up to the knob lookout and waited almost two hours for a bird to fly by. We were told there were hundreds of them between 10 and noon but suddenly they stopped. Just as were about to leave and of course after I put my camera away a Bald Eagle appears out of nowhere. I quickly got my camera out and this is the shot I got. Not the best but thankful I was able to get this one.
