Ghost Sign

It may not be a ghost sign in the ‘traditional’ way (i.e. old painted signs on brickwork) but this painted glass panel gives a nod to the history of the building as a shop.

The building is currently a cafe/bar which recently underwent refurbishment (including a change of name) and they removed a load of cladding above the main door, revealing this old sign. Surprisingly they left it exposed which I think is quite a nice touch.

Out early again this morning (6 a.m.) with the two dogs. Milo is really hard work as she pulls all the time on her lead, which is not good as I have a very painful wrist ganglion at the moment. I shall be returning her to our son later today, so just Finlay to walk tomorrow!
