Contre Jour Gladioli

I much prefer to see flowers thrive in the garden rather than slowly rot in a vase in the house, but I had to save these from the garden as the wind had blown them so hard that they were geowing horizontally. I must admit I've spent a lot of time staring at the effect of brief spells of sunlight illuminating them from behind the living room window.
